Lynchburg Branch
In the Southwest District

Purpose:  We are a group of women of all ages and stages who strive to further awareness, opportunities, and enrichment for women.

Activities:  Our monthly meetings, co-hosting of the foreign policy lecture series in February, and special interest groups such as book discussions, as well as pursuit of AAUW initiatives, insure meaningful fellowship and action.

Special emphasis:  Our branch is particularly concerned with education.  We give scholarships to women, especially mature women, so that they may attend college.

Welcome:  We invite you to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, to join us in our continuing tradition of friendliness and participation.

Contact:  President, Kay Olvera , 434/525-2051
